About MeHello hello! My name is Jesus Lopez Hernandez. I am currently a 2nd year student, pursuing a bachelor’s in Economics and Accounting. I am both a member of the First Gen. community and a member of the Chicanx/Latinx community. I was born in Huntington Park, California and was raised closeby in Cudahy, California. Fun Fact: The clinic in which I was born was demolished and made into a Smart N Final (some would say I was born in the dairy aisle). I come from a predominantly Latinx community and I am proud to be the son of Mexican immigrants and to identify within Mexican culture. Although it is just my second year, I believe I have used my time here wisely and have expanded my networks throughout campus from becoming an RA, to joining Theta Nu Kappa Multicultural and Academic Fraternity Inc. and even being administrator for the Latinx Business Association on campus. I look forward to growing as both a student and person during my time here as I wish to expand and collaborate with the community on a personal, academic and social standing. In my spare time, you can find me playing billiards, napping, listening to music on a stroll or diving deep into the idea of financial freedom and prosperity. I am 101% open to talk to about academics, sports, news or anything that you feel comfortable sharing with me.
